Crock Pot Baked Ziti
Crock Pot Baked Ziti
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 jars (25 oz each) pasta sauce
1 container 15 oz cottage cheese
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded and divided
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 box ziti noodles
Cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium high heat add seasonings
Cook noodles according to box directions
Start out by pouring some sauce on the bottom and the half the noodles, layer with meat, cottage cheese, parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Pour half the sauce over and repeat.
Cook on high 4 to 5 hours or on low 6 – 7 hours

It has ricatta cheese and I can’t stand it so I use cottage cheese and it is soooo good.

Actually it depends on your crock pot. Even on low my crockpot cooks really fast.

Sounds yummy! Thanks for sharing! I don’t like cottage cheese so I use sour cream, egg and mozz. cheese when making lasagna. Sounds funny, but when combined it mixes pretty well and tastes really yummy!
