Cooking Mama Cook Off – Review for the Wii
I know this game has been out for a while. This game is new to my son Dakota and I.
What you do is you use your culinary kitchen skills. It’s a very fast paced cook off. In the game there is 55 different International Recipes. You cut, fry, bake and make plates. This is a two player game. I only have one Wii Remote right now so we have to wait until the computer expires for that second person to move on.
Here are some pictures:

My son literally spent hours playing this game. He was so excited and proud of himself after each episode. Although he didn’t notice he had to do better on some of them. I just kept quiet and let him proceed to play the game. I was lucky enough to grab the remote twice. He is really good at cutting and chopping the veggies and meat!
I must say I was definately satisfied with this game. I never thought my 8 year old son would be playing this. I didn’t think it would hold his interest. He proved me wrong. I would definately purchase the other Cooking Mama games after I master this one.

LOL That’s how it is here. Gotta fight Dakota for the Wii. You have a good weekend too.
Thats great Dakota is enjoying this! I only wish Gannon could figure out and enjoy games. We are thinking about getting him that Leapster 2 game, but honestly I don’t think he will even care about the handheld game. Gannon does like Wii bowling, but we have to help him do it. He can’t get his lil hands around the remote to hit the buttons and such. Does Dakota do any handheld games like that or a ds?

Dakota has a leapster and a Nintendo DS. He does like the DS but lately he is into the Wii.
That game looks really similar to the one I have for the Wii – Order Up. My husband and I love to play it but my only complaint is that it isn’t a 2 player game so you have to play then swap out so someone else can play too.

LOL Vicki. Just wait I got another review I am doing later today… LOL
Video games have changed a bit since I used to play them. This looks like a good idea that opens things up to a new audience that old shooting games never could.

You are so very right! I am sick of those shooting games honestly and I love how the Wii makes you move around and you can actually have lots of fun.
Sounds like a fun game! I thought about renting it for my son, but I wasn’t sure he would like it (he enjoys racing games). After reading your review, I think I’ll give it a try!

You never know unless you try. I have another review I will be posting later about a game I bought. I was certainly surprised he enjoyed it.
Sounds like a really fun game. I can probably learn a thing or two from it also.
