Cherry Bread Recipe

Today I decided to make Cherry Bread. I was in the mood to bake something today. I am a cherry lover! I could eat anything with cherries in it.

Cherry Bread Recipe

2 cups Flour

1 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1 Cup Sugar

2 Eggs, beaten

8 ounces Maraschino Cherries and Juice, cut into pieces

1 Cup Walnuts (optinal)

Pre Heat Oven to 350

  1. Mix eggs and sugar together
  2. Add juice from cherries
  3. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well
  4. Add cherries and nuts
  5. Pour batter into loaf pan
  6. Bake 45 in a 350 degree over
  7. Just a note you might want to check it at 45 minutes to make sure it’s done. Mine could have went 5 – 10 minutes longer as it wasn’t done yet in the middle and the middle dropped. Sigh….  I will tackle this again tomorrow.

Hi Amber. I so love Zucchini Bread. It’s my favorite. My neighbors give me a ton of it and I bake away. Glad you stopped by.

The bread was ok. I think it was my fault though as I should have left it in longer.

Nope it tasted floury. Plus I didn’t bake it long enough. With bread you would think I would know better
