I am a stay at home mom of three kids. My oldest is 16 and he is a sophomore in High School. My youngest son is 10 and in Grade 4 and I home school him. My daughter is 3 and we work on preschool skills. My son has High Functioning Autism and my daughter has pdd nos (high functioning autism). I know the holidays are busy times for all of us. We all sure have a lot to be thankful for during this holiday season. I think sometimes there are things we dont’ think about when we should. I think even though we are thankful for what our Military Troops do over seas we don’t thank them enough. Especially during the Holidays. It’s not just the Military Troops it’s also challenging for the Military Families. I know I have been there. Only difference between me and them is that we were lucky my husband wasn’t fully trained in what he was specializing in when his unit was activated. Yesterday I just happen to be going through some recipes in a Amish Recipe Book I had gotten from the library. I love Honey Buns! Especially ones by Hostess! When I came across this recipe I was really excited. However though I am a little disappointed because when I think of Honey Buns I think of soft and nice and iced top honey bun. Well this turned out more so like a coffee cake. You poke holes in it and the icing sinks in the cake. Not what I was expecting but yet it still was good.
