Yesterday I left my camera laying out. I was in the kitchen and I noticed a flash in the living room. At first I thought I was seeing things but then I realized the camera was on the table. I had to chuckle at what I found on my camera.

My daughter and I were working on some tracing and she saw me writing her name on each paper. I like to date things that she does so I can go back and look at how she has improved.

Brittany: Mommy look I am writing my name.

Me: (Looking at the paper kind of chuckling to myself, she has H’s going across the bottom of the paper.) It looks to me you made all H’s. That’s not how you spell your name.

Every year the week after Thanksgiving our town has Christmas in the city. Starting with Friday Night a parade and trip to see Santa in his little house. Saturday there is breakfast with Santa. There is a few events that go on both Friday Night and Saturday. We didn’t attend it this year. We did take a walk down to the Park of Lights to check out the trees during the daytime. I wanted to see what the trees looked and how they were decorated. We didn’t get pictures yet of what they look like at night but I plan on it soon. The Snowman Santa is my favorite. What I love about these decorated trees is that each one had a cost and the cost went back to give back to help others in the community.  Read more...

My daughter absolutely loves to wear dresses. This dress that she is wearing is one of my favorites that she has.

I sat here thinking I am really not sure what to write about today. A lot has been happening here in my little corner of the world. So I thought what better to write about is some positive highlights this week with my kiddos.

I absolutely love the above picture. I made some fresh play dough for Brittany. I turned my back fora few minutes and she had created a pile of hearts! Love IT!!  Read more...
