Birth To Three

Author: Well tomorrow Brittany and I have a meeting with the gal from the Birth to Three program. The Birth to Three program is a program that works with kids who have not reached their milestones. It maybe in speech, gross motors, and fine motor and more. They offer speech, occupational, and physical therapy. I started with this program as at first I was concerned with some of the things that Brittany did. I didn’t feel in the beginning her speech was coming along and in the back of my mind I worried about her having autism. I can honestly say from a video that I shared a while back I don’t think she has any of the signs for autism. I feel she is meeting all her milestones. One thing the gal said at the last visit is that Brittany is quite the problem solver. That she is. If she can’t get to it she will figure out how. She says normally she sees more problem solving in boys and she was thrilled to see it in Brittany. Now we just get together after each check up to make sure her progress is going well. I think tomorrow will give us yet another great report. So far she hasn’t needed any of the services. I am very thankful for that. I am very positive about tomorrow. Brittany is picking up words like crazy. I think her favorite words lately are puppy and nemo and of course mommy.
You can tell she is such a mommy’s girl. She has to go with me everywhere I go. If she isn’t with mommy she isn’t happy. The other day my friend stayed here so I could run a couple errands quick in town. Brittany saw me put my shoes on and decided she had to grab the diaper bag and head for the door. Little did she know she wasn’t going with. Another time my Dad was watching Brittany while I was in town. When she realized I snuck out the door she started crying. My dad said she would call for mommy and would cry alot. Here’s the 
If you look close you can see her little crocodile tears! See I wasn’t kidding about her being mommy’s little girl! LOL

LOL She sure is! Things will go really well I am sure of that.
So glad she seems on track. I’m sure your meeting will go well. I laughed when you said she went and got the diaper bag – too cute!

LOL I too laugh when I think of her grabbing the diaper bag. If it’s not the bag it’s her shoes. LOL I too think things will go well. Hope you have a great weekend.
my daughter’s were born 7 weeks early.
They received sppech therapy from such a program from 18 months to 2 years.
Thankfully after that they caught up.
It makes them high risk for so many things in future.
With God’s grace everything is ok till now.

That is true. Brittany was 4 weeks early to the day. So far she is doing well. Dakota is the only one with speech delays.

Thank you! I am sure we will get a good report. I am rather confident about the meeting. We just do this to stay in communication and as a precaution. But all is well though

The meeting went very well. We talked about both Brittany and Dakota.
I can’t wait to hear what she had to say about the kids. Praise God that Brittany is doing so fabulous! Thats always a relief

Hi Sherri. As soon as I get home I will write up how things went with the meeting and how our weekend was. I am so ready for school to start. Wish it was tomorrow. LOL Oh well Tuesday will come fast enough!
Poor Baby! I know my kids are like that. They hate when Mom leaves….especially without them. So good to know she is hitting her milestones. Every kid is so different, I know Seth was scaring me with not walking until just a month or so ago. Doing good Momma, you amaze me with your strength with your kiddos.

She is such a mama’s girl Karie. But you know what she is really good when I take her places for the most part. So I don’t really mind. It’s just the days you want to do something with NO kids. LOL
