Baking Day #2 – What I hope to accomplish

Well I got started earlier then yesterday that is for sure. Hubby took me out to breakfast and when I came home I started the Cinnamon Roll’s. I never knew how messy that was going to be. I had my hands all goopy and had to get my daughter down from the chair several times. I think the first round of rising is just about done and I just got everything cleaned up.
Today’s List:
Cinnamon Rolls
Pretzels
Garlic Bread Sticks
Almond Butter Toffee
Peanut Butter Cupcakes
Possibly Cookies
Recipes to come later! If you want to participate join us with the twitter hashtag #bakingday

WOW! You guys are amazing
I agree with the messy-ness! I am always amazed how I clean the kitchen before cooking all day, but then after 1 thing is in the oven…you would like I was having a flour party in my kitchen…haha…oh well. I do love to make home made goodies. I usually bake anywhere from 2 to 3 times a week, sometimes even more. Lately it seems everything I bake is gone like that! Today the kids ate my pumpkin spice bars for breakfast…needless to say out of a 9 x 13 pan, I have only 6 little bars left! oh well
at least they are eating healthy!

My motivation went down the tubes today. Today’s baking day was a bust. Brittany was clingy all day. I think she is getting sick.

Wow, now I’m totally hungry – those all sound awesome! I have never been good at being organized with meals or anything like that. I am determined to get it together this month and start planning ahead.

Trish it’s really hard for me to plan meals as things always change on us here. I just started menu planning. I thought by freezing muffins for now they would make great gifts for Christmas and just a quick breakfast for the kids. I didn’t really get a chance to do much on my list as my daughter was really clingy yesterday.

It’s hard to start around here as Brittany gets into things. She does love mama’s baking. LOL

It is definitely worth the mess. If you have littles ones I would make sure you do it near nap time or when someone else is home to help take care of them. I had to chase Brittany with messy hands. LOL
