Tina has there been any changes at school? Has his routine changed at school at all? My son was the complete opposite of yours. He acted out at home after his day of school. Sometimes no matter how hard I tried to figure it out I ran into no answers until just recently. After the year I dealt with at school I realized I had to homeschool him. It really took the stress and anxiety away and has made things a lot easier. I am now seeing things in him that I didn't even see in school. My son had really bad anxiety when it came to stepping foot in that building. I don't understand why. I don't know if it is because the teachers and kids didn't understand him or that he couldn't communicate his feelings. Sometimes the biting and pinching are a reaction to something going on. I would start there and investigate. Does your son have an IEP at school or some kind of behavior plan? They could set up some kinda of reward system so that every day he has a good day he could get a sticker and at the end of the week some type of reward. Maybe there is some anxiety with being at school. Now when he gets that way with his sister I would try to see how the situation started to set him off. I would make sure to say use your words such as I am angry, I am mad. I am going to make a meter with different faces for my son so when he is in a mood he can move the meter and we know when to leave him alone. I don't have all the answers and I feel your frustrations as I have been there myself. Feel free to email me any time if you just want to talk :)

Oh how heartbreaking. I wish I could help but I have no advice. I usually run to his dr. when my little man seems to be acting funny (but I LOVE her and her advice). You are a wonderful mom, though, and I KNOW you will do what is right for him.

No they are pretty strict. I have tried to see if there were ways around it. I will know a little more maybe on Monday. We see the psychiatrist and the counselor was going to check with someone and see what more we could do. It kinda sucks that we have to wait for these evaluations. I am still waiting for the paper work. I would have thought they would have been here today. I would have started filling them out.
