Autism Safety Project
I was looking over what is new on Autism Speaks and I came across something new called The Autism Safety Project. What it does is collaborates the families with first responders. This provides the first resonders information at how to handle a situation with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder by providing guidelines.
There are three printable forms that are provided and I believe they could be come handy not just for First Responders but also for caregivers, parents, teachers, day care, and etc…
- Autism Basics
- Emergency Information at a Glance
- Emergency Information for Individuals with the Autism Spectrum Disorder
Take a look at the website. It’s short and sweet and may very well come in handy for whatever situation.

It sure is! These forms will come in handy in this house. LOL
Very good Stacie. As usual you have done a good job. I have been reading up on Autism. I didn’t realize what a great deal of different types and I guess degrees would be a better way to describe.
I don’t want to ramble so I will leave it like this.
Have a good day.

I am going to show it to our police chief here. Even if I can just hand out the Autism Basics or talk to him about working together to create our own type of program here.
