My Question: What is one thing you would change in your past if you could?

Well when I graduated from high school I went to college for Accounting. Well then I got married the first time and well things got complicated and I didn’t finish. I tried to start up again with something else and didn’t finish. At one time my school loans went into default as I thought I could put them on the back burner and well that caught up with me. I wasn’t able to go back to school until I paid a whole year of student loans. Well then I went back to school for computer programming. I quit because I was so upset with how the teacher treated me. I couldn’t get the help I wanted and I failed. Then I went and graduated from AIU. I think I was tricked into that though as I ended up getting my degree in the Art of Business and I had to do that first before I went into my Bachleors Degree for Computer Design. Well needless to say I didn’t need them courses as I found out later but I learned a few things about myself taking them. I am now WAY IN debt for school loans. I am going to school in summer to get my degree in medical coding and transcription and I am done! I wish that I wouldn’t have quit the first time and I stayed on top of things and had a better head on my shoulders. That’s what I would have changed!

I would have had more fun in college and not been so worried about what people thought of me. I didn’t go out to the bars – not because I was against drinking but because I was worried someone would think I was a drunk or a bad person. I wish I would have just hung out with my friends instead of staying behind to keep a good image.

    Great question!

I would for sure change the fact that I had a boyfriend all through high school! It was a waste of time and I should have been living more! My Aloha Friday is up as well! Have a great weekend!

I did finish college – but didn’t get a degree in anything useful. I wish I had gotten my teaching degree. That is what I would do over.

I would have liked to go to college and taken some writing courses. I don’t think I would actually change anything though, because I am very happy with my family and my life as it is. However, it’s never to late to go back to school!

If you have time, come check out My Aloha Friday. Have a great weekend!

I know this probably sounds bad…but I wouldn’t have gotten married so young or even at all.

I don’t think it sounds bad at all. I think it’s being honest :)

Wow. What a question! Ok. Um. You know what? Everything that I did/said…good and bad got me to the ‘me’ i am today. So, I suppose I wouldn’t change a thing.

    :)

Wow…that’s a big question. Ok…I’ve changed my answer a couple times. HaHa….I think I would have had liked to have children while my mom was alive….but that would have taken me meeting my hubby earlier, so I don’t know!!

    What a question!! :-)

I think I might change my degree too.. I graduated in psychology, and well just a bachelors in psychology is pretty useless. I ended up becoming a licensed social worker, but I should have just gone into social work in the first place.

We live and learn. I think my Associate Degree is wasted to some point. Although it is helping me with ideas and so forth and hands on learning with being a the Service Area Manager for the county I am Girl Scout Leader in.

Well, that’s kind of a loaded question in a way. Not that I’d ever change my children, but I think I wouldn’t have gotten married so young. I think I would like to change that, and possibly had a career for a while, and maybe have gone to college and live that single life longer.

I would have put more thought in what I wanted to major in when I had the chance to get my education from a great university. I feel like I have wasted it now.
