Aloha Friday – Halloween

AlohaFriday1

I can’t believe it’s Friday already. I am glad that means I can sleep in tomorrow. Yippee!! No I am not in Hawaii. LOL I wish as it’s probably way warmer then it is here.

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and submit your link at the button above.

My Question This Week:

Are you going to a Halloween Party and if so what are you dressing up as? Are you taking your kids trick or treating and if so what are their costumes?

I don’t know if we are going Trick or Treating yet as we were planning to go the UP that weekend. We haven’t decided if we would trick or treat in the next town or just have a Halloween Party for the kids. I know I plan on taking the kids next weekend to the Halloween Walk where they trick or treat.

Brittany is going as a tiger and Dakota is going as Darth Vader.

Interesting! I hope you can find one reasonable. I didn’t know they had Michael Jackson costumes out. I didn’t go costume shopping this year. Dakota said he wanted to be Darth Vader. I told my dad and he went shopping and bought him his costumer and he also bought Brittany one but I don’t remember what the costume was he bought her it sounded really cute though.

Couple of years ago I bought all the makings for an “over the hill Victoria’s Secret Angel”; Sumo wrestler body with glued on pasties and sequined thong, beautiful angel wings and a sash! I’m going to use it this year.

We are going to a party but my hubs and I won’t dress up. We’ll look forward to having the kids get together and then the parents can socialize!

A party sounds like fun. It’s still up in the air for us right now. The way Dakota is behaving I am not sure I want to go up North.

I haven’t dressed up in yrs. for Halloween. We will go trick or treating on Halloween, I’m excited it’s on a Saturday this yr. My daughter is going to be a witch, and I haven’t even gotten my son’s costume yet.

No Halloween party for the grown-ups. There’s a couple of cute rec center parties around for the kids but they all take place at nap time or too near bedtime, so I’m a little bummed about that. The kids will be trick or treating at Grandma’s though, so they will dress up. Not quite sure as what yet though, they keep changing their minds every ten seconds!

They have something going on at the youth club. I think it’s during Trick or Treating and either starts before or lasts a little longer then Trick or Treating. They just started Trick or Treating here about 3 or 4 years ago. They had stopped it for a long time as a I think someone got hit by a car or something. If we go I would prefer to go down by my parents. Dakota was like that too. He kept changing his mind too.
