Aloha Friday – Favorite Winter Activity?

My Question:
What is your favorite Winter Activity?
Mine is taking the kids sledding. I love watching them have fun. We haven’t gone sledding yet this year but we might go next weekend tubing. I love ice skating too. They make a skating rink here for the kids to use. We have never used it because we don’t have ice skates.
In another town farther North they have an ice rink where the rent out skates and have a warming house. I would love to take the kids there at least once this year before winter is up.

I would so love to have a fireplace! Sounds comfy!
I’m with Buffie. I prefer to stay inside. A quilt, my sweetie, a bowl of popcorn, and a good movie on TV sounds great to me.

LOL I Have been following you too but I figured I should tell you… hehehe. It’s a nice day today and doesn’t feel to chilly out. I so want a fireplace.

We don’t get snow or anything-I mean it gets pretty chilly-but no snow-so nothing different to do. I guess we play inside more-but it’s not too cold to go outside and do things we’d normally do(except swim in the pool-obviously).

It would be nice to still be able to go outside if it weren’t so cold here.
I asked this same question! It was skiing and skating, but now we live were there is hardly ever snow.

i don’t have a favorite winter activity because I don’t like winter in the first place, if there is something, i think it’s watching outside thru the glass window from inside a warm house!

I like going out after we have a snow storm with the kids.
Also I love sitting in front of our fireplace during a cold night. So relaxing and peaceful.

LOL Vickie! That’s ok. I would love to have a fire place. I love going outside when it’s snowing with the kids too we have fun.
we are not outside people in the winter so I would say taking ride in car to see all the beauty or spending time with family inside

My favorite is snowboarding, although I haven’t been for some time. The other would have to be going to our time share in Genoa, NV where they have natural hot springs and sitting in those while it’s snowing. Also tubing with the kids in South Lake Tahoe. “Snow” much fun!

the kids love sledding, I like to watch – not participate. We also own some snow shoes, which is fun, I really have to get doing that some more too.

I have never went snow showing. I think it would be fun to try it.
