Aloha Friday #95

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

Here is my question:
Is the a product that you use to like that they don’t sell anymore?
Actually I was thinking about candy the other day from when I was younger. There was a candy you could by for 40 cents and it was called Cherry Chalk. It was so good. The outside was chalky and the inside was cherry licorice. I don’t even remember who made it.
Then there is a candy bar called Cherry Ripe. I am pretty sure that it is still around. It actually comes from Australia and is made by Cadbury. They just don’t sell it here in the states. It is FANTASTIC. Coconut, chocolate and cherries. YUM!!

I do love Cherry. I Love the chocolate covered cherries. But not the ones with the cream. YUM!
Oh I just hate it when a company discontinues a product that I’ve been loyal to for years
… I’m still mad at Max Factor for discontinuing their comb on mascara over 10 years ago… nothing else even compares.

You know what I know there was a lipstick I use to love by Mary Kay and I don’t even know if they carry it. It was only in December and it was gorgeous Copper Color.
Geeze…my CRS is showing up. I guess if they aren’t selling it I don’t miss it LOL. Have a great Friday

ROFL!! I am sure there some I can’t remember that I am not missing too… Have a great weekend.
It happens often with make-up, especially lipstick. I find one that I like and get lots of compliments, all of a sudden, it’s discontinued. Maybe it’s a sign I need to change my look more often. LOL.

I hate that Olive Garden no longer has Chocolate Lasagna on their menu! It was my absolute favorite dessert! Hate it when you have a fave that they decide to faze out.

You I used to love going to the A & W resturants and getting an old fashion root beer float. But here in KS, they closed those all down in the late 80′s! But MAN were they good! Old school mug, old school rootbeer, and YUMMMY ice cream. So unhealthy, but man they rocked! IT was the drive in style that is “in the past” and probably will not venture our again….haha

Oh that would stink. We have A&Ws around. The closest one to us is in Green Bay. They are expensive but so good. When I was little I remember my mom having those little kid sized A&W mugs in the cabinets.

i know just what you mean stacie! i used to love a chocolate called frys five centres, but cadbury stopped doing it. i even wrote them a letter lol, but they said the demand was too low

I really liked writing to Cadbury. They respond back with nice letters. Can’t say they sent me any goodies though.
