What are your plans for Christmas?
My Answer: Christmas Eve we will be going to my parents house. The kids normally go early as we do our Christmas shopping and get things all wrapped. The boys will get to open their Christmas presents and then Brittany will open hers when we get there to pick up the boys. Christmas Day my inlaws are coming over. I have some cooking to do and everyone normally brings something. We don’t exchange any gifts we just sit and talk and then later we end up playing games like trivia or something else.
One thing I really miss is visiting my friend Sherry from back home. Before I moved a way we started a little tradition of going over to my friend Sherry’s house and visiting. Grandma and Grandpa would get Christmas presents out from Santa while we were gone. Brad always got to open his presents Christmas Eve. Since I moved we lost contact. I miss my friend so much! I bet her kids have really grown up now. I only have pictures from when they were smaller.
I remember one year she called me in tears. Her boyfriend was missing and he had all the presents in the car. Apparently his car was stolen and he walked all over to try to find it. It broke my heart that those kids were not going to have a Christmas. I knew nothing was open so I went through Brad’s toys to find whatever he didn’t play with and I made them some Brownies. I couldn’t let them think that Santa forgot about them. I got there and said Santa came to my house and left them some presents by mistake. The look on there faces brought so much joy and smiles. They didn’t have a clue there were Brad’s old toys there were just thrilled to get presents. The little munchkins gobbled up the chocolate brownies. I don’t even think they left a crumb. LOL

I love staying home on Christmas. I like not having to venture out. I hate all the cleaning that comes before it with family coming. I love watching movies too.
No plans…I always go planless

what my plans are for christmas is that we have 3 family members coming from out of state. on christmas eve we open one present. then in the morning we all wake up and go out and see what “santa” brought, and then after we open all of our presents we normally go to some of our familys house and see what all they got and open presents that other family members got us. then we are staying at my aunts house and hanging out with all the family by playing games, basketball, and talking about what we got for christmas and what “santa” wrote back to us on our note that we wrote him along with the cookies that we gave him and his reindeers.
