Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

My question for today is: What do you like best about the fall weather?
I love taking rides around to see the fall colors. We are not into the peak season yet. But the leaves are sure starting to turn. The cooler weather means more baking. I love scents of apples and cinnamon and pumpkin spices! Apple picking is a favorite thing to do here too! Fall means Halloween and my son just love it!

Halloween is super fun and oh, the apple goodnes and pumpkin delights to be baked. I put a fab apple cake recipe on my blog for today. I’m eating a piece for breakfast right now and it is goooood!

No fair your teasing!! Now you gotta share with the rest of us. LOL I saw the recipe earlier. It looks delicious.
I love going for a ride in the car on a Sunday afternoon to see all the trees that are changing colors.

Me too Jenn. Up towards Upper Michigan near Niagra things are starting to get a lot more color. It’s a beautiful area up there.
I LOVE apples! That’s just for starters. Fall is my absolute favorite season, the colors, the cooler weather, my birthday…oops, did I say that? The crisp coolness after a hot summer is always soooo welcome.

I love the fall colors in the air, the smell of the season, a warm fire or bonfire, being able to snuggle up under the blankets, not having to wear clothing that shows more of my than I like, I get to wear my boots again, everything really, fall is my favorite season. It’s short lived here as it usually turns to winter as soon as the leaves are raked up, not to see the ground again until May.

Same here Jen! Today it’s 54 but with the wind it’s chilly. It rained today. I don’t like the cold and damp rain. But I love the smell of fall and all the colors.
Wearing sweaters and closed-toe shoes!

I would rather still be barefoot. I hate shoes. LOL Things seem more snuggly in the fall.
I love the lack of all the humidity and the fresh crisp air.

Hi Stacie… I love the colors… the smells… the cooler weather (even though it’s still in the 70′s here… it’s better than the 90′s!)…. I absolutely love Halloween. For me fall kicks off the holiday season… we all celebrate birthdays in the fall… and our anniversary is in the fall as well…. so from September on though January we’ are celebrating something… it’s just one long holiday season for us

From now through February we are celebrating something each month here too. Fall is my favorite season. I welcome the lesser humidity and cooler weather. Although it’s been a tad chilly. Isn’t it fun when you have so many things to look forward too! Hope all is well LaShan!
I love wearing cold weather clothes because I look better with clothes on! LOL!

there is so much I LOVE about autumn!!! (I secretly think it has something to do w/ the fact that I live in FL now and never fully appreciated fall while I grew up in New Englad). I miss the change in colors, the smell of fall, apple picking, pumpkin picking, apple cider, etc. My list can go on & on – lol!!!!

I can understand missing fall Jackie! I would miss it too if I lived down south. My favorite time is going up North now and seeing all the colors change.
The freshness and the cuddles without the bitter cold. Changing trees, big comfy sweatshirts that don’t have to be shoved under heavy winter coats. Apple cider and cuddling.

I love the colors of the leaves changing. It’s time for cider and hot chocolate. I will miss summer. I love staying outside when it is warm.

We found a new hot chocolate by Nestle. It’s a mint one. YUM.
I LOVE fall weather too. We are in full mode around here and loving every minute of it! I am ready to grap some HOT apple cider…yummmm…….

I love Hot Apple Cider! I gotta get some when I go to the grocery store tomorrow.
I love all the colors of autumn even though here sometimes we don’t have that much. The new harvest of apples which are so crisp and juicy. And the air is so clean and fresh.

I really just like the cool crisp air in the morning and warmer afternoons. The beautiful leaves changing color. Sipping hot chocolate watching my kids play in the front yard. Ahhhh.
Then it snows, freezes and bleh. Winter.

I love hot chocolate too. After we walk home on those crisp days that is what we normally drink.
Always a little sad to summer go but i love the brilliant color of leaves in the fall

Yeah I was sad to see summer go this year. We had a lot of humid but cooler days and it was dry here.

Me too Melissa! My favorite are the red leaves! My neighbor has maple tree and I l just love those red leaves all over.
