About Me

Welcome to Super Mommy To The Rescue!

img_08611-300x225

I am Stacie a SAHM of three. I started blogging in May 2009. When I first started this blog I wanted it to be a place where I could spread autism awareness. Well now my blogging habits range from autism, homeschool, crafts, recipes, reviews and giveaways.

My son Dakota is 11 and has High Functioning Autism and my daughter Brittany is 5 and was  diagnosed with PDD NOS but being re-evaluated for Aspergers.

I homeschool both my younger ones. We use a wide variety of curriculum. From books, to lapbooks, online computer games, to even using the iphone, ipad, and android. I also take the time to make my own printables and share them.

We are huge iphone, ipad, and android junkies. We love trying out new apps, as well as telling all of you about them.

If you notice I absolutely love to bake and cook so from time to time I share my recipes.

I love to craft with the kids so you will see a lot of that also.

I hope you enjoy the mixed bag of this blog.

Okay, I’ve been to your blog how many times and have never read your profile. WHY??? I haven’t a clue, usually that’s one of the first places I go. Oh well, I finally did and you just gave me even more reason to watch, read and learn from you. I finally found the “follow” button so am now following you.
Working with kids is what I do and I have had my share of the ADHD, ADD, Bi-polar, Autistic and occasional handful child. I wouldn’t trade them for anything. Sometimes it’s the parent with these problems too and just need help raising a child. It works for both of us and I love my job.
Thanks for taking the time to shop by and share some love. I so think comments make the world go around.
Take care and have a blessed day!

    Stacie,
I have a 13 yr old with Epilepsy and the school wanted to teach him the PECS program but now I am homeschooling him and I don’t know how to use the PECS program and was hoping you could point me in the right direction. We would be at the beginners level.
    Thank You
