25 Days Of Christmas Crafts: Day 6 Paper Plate Rudolph

Welcome to Day 6 of 25 Days of Christmas Crafts. Today’s craft is making a paper plate Reindeer and of course using the little ones hands. I love things with hand prints. It’s nice watching them change over the years. For me it’s a keepsake 🙂 This craft is pretty easy and doesn’t require a lot of things.

Paper Plate Rudolph

What You Need:

  • Paper Plate
  • Paint Brush
  • Brown Paint
  • Googly Eyes
  • Marker
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Brown Construction Paper
  • Red Pom Pom

Directions:

First you will take the paper plate and paint the plate brown. Let Dry.

While the plate is drawing trace your little one’s hands. Both left and right. Once traced cut the hand prints out.

Once the paper plate is dry. Glue the googly eyes on. The red pom pom will be the nose. Draw a face. Glue the hands at the top of the plate.

VARIATION: If you don’t have brown paint you could have the child color it with a brown marker or brown crayon. If you don’t have a red pom pom you could always use red construction paper or draw and color a red nose and glue it on the paper plate. If you don’t have googly eyes you could even draw a pair of eyes.

Enjoy!
